Not words of love
I recently found a love letter from my ex – a narcissist.
It was a little mini note, pink paper and hearts and a short message expressing his love, but what really struck me now was the the words. It was all ‘I must have you, and no one else ‘ , you are mine’ at the time I was flattered to be wanted so much completely bowled over by an over the top, utterly romantic courtship, but 25 years later I see the absence of words like partnership and together. It was all about ownership.
Watch out girls (and guys) the words of true love don’t include ownership.
